Most recommended tires by ID.4 owners
- Michelin CrossClimate2 tires
Based on the feedback, most ID.4 owners recommended the Michelin CrossClimate 2 tires more than most other tires that they have used before on their EVs.
They gave the following reasons:
- Better handling.
- They ride quietly and smoothly.
- Most of them never noticed any range difference.
This means that they did not lose any significant amount of range after switching to these tires.
However, you should also note that these tires are not the cheapest option, especially if you are looking for cheaper tires for your ID.4.
- Vredestein Quatrac Pro
The Vredestein Quatrac Pro was the second most recommended tire by the ID.4 owners.
Most of them noticed an improvement in ride quality because the ride was smooth (the bumps were smooth too) and much quieter compared to the tires that came with the car.
Additionally, the tires tend to wear out very well. However, this depends on your driving habits.
- Continental XtremeContact
The Continental XtremeContact was the 3rd most recommended tire by ID.4 owners.

Most recommended winter tires by ID.4 owners
- Michelin X-Ice Snow
We have driven up a snowy mountain and suburban driving in snow on these tires and they performed quite well.
We had much more control (better traction) and greater confidence when driving in snow on these tires than when driving on other tires that we have used before on our ID.4.
It’s no surprise most ID.4 owners recommended them when driving during winter.
- Nokian Hakkapeliittas
Nokian Hakkapeliittas tires were the 2nd most recommended tire by ID.4 owners who drive in areas that get as much as 18ft of annual snowfall.
That’s because they offer great traction.
However, you should expect a range hit. But it’s worth it considering that your safety should be paramount when driving on snow.
- Pirelli scorpion
Most ID.4 owners who switched from the regular stock tires to Pirelli scorpion during winter claimed to have noticed a difference in terms of performance.
That’s because they performed better than expected. However, from our experience, their performance was not as great as the other tires mentioned above.
- BLIZZAK DM-V2
The BLIZZAK DM-V2 also featured in the list of best winter tires because of the positive feedback we received from ID.4 owners who recommended them for ID.4 in winter.
Most of the ID.4 owners who recommend the BLIZZAK DM-V2 liked how well they handled on icy surfaces and also because they have less road noise.
